Published in 1633, these prints were reproduced directly from first edition engravings with contemporary hand water-coloring from De Florum Cultura by Giovanni Battista Ferrari. Ferrari was the gardener in charge of the the luxurious Barberini gardens of the Quirinale Palace in Rome. We’ve reproduced these images as close as possible to their original size and have matted them in a 8 ply deep “Olde White” conservation mat with conservation foam backing board at finished size 8 x 10 inches.
