Our Karl Blossfeldt prints are vintage first edition photogravure book plates from either Wunder In Der Natur, 1932 or Urformen Der Kunst, 1928. Originally purchased from Michael Hoppen Gallery in the 1990’s and framed by Marin County master framer Duane Wehrhan. Each print is matted and backed in a bevel cut four ply off white cotton rag mat. Image Size: 7 7/8 x 10 inches Frame Size Outer Edge: 18 1/2 x 22 inches. The frames are hand crafted wood, with a gesso coating and then hand painted. They have a smooth but rustic gesso finish (see detail photo) total frame depth is 3/34 inch with the outer level measuring 1/2 inch deep and the inner level 1/4 inch deep. Each frame surface is slightly different do to the hand brush application of the gesso layer and paint.

Prints are framed with conservation glass. The Full Set is priced at $1,560 for all six prints. Just One Full Set Is Available. I will delete the listing if other single prints are purchased.
